Join us on Wednesday 17th June for our annual Sunshine Run on Newcastle's Quayside to support children with disabilities, right here in the North East!

 

Runners will set off from the Millennium Bridge on Newcastle's Quayside and head to Newcastle Business Park and back to cross the finish line in a spectacular photo finish with the Tyne's bridges as a backdrop.

 

The race is flat and fast making it the perfect opportunity to get involved for fun runners, but also for affiliated club runners looking to smash their PBs! Chip timing will return as we know how important it is for our runners to get an instant, accurate race time.

 

The Sunshine Run welcomes runners of all abilities - whether you walk it, run it, dance it or skip it, this is a no-pressure event and all that matters to us is getting as many people as we can involved, to support our small charity.

Additional fundraising isn't required but is certainly encouraged, though the entry fee alone helps us support local children with disabilities and includes a t-shirt to wear during the run as well as  a medal on passing the finish line. If every runner raised £23 for our 23rd year, we would raise an additional £11,500.

For the 6th year running our wonderful friends at Stagecoach will be our event partners for this iconic event. Stagecoach are synonymous with the North East and they share our vision for a brighter future for all children living with disabilities in our region.
