At The Sunshine Fund, we're committed to providing the best opportunities for the babies, children and young people we support in the North East, and removing barriers that may prevent them from reaching their full potential. 

Whether this is through funding life-changing pieces of equipment, providing access to inclusive and accessible activities and events, or offering support and guidance to families navigating their own personal journeys.

For the last 2 years, we have continued to double our numbers of runners each year, and we aim to grow this even further in 2027. We aim to make The Sunshine Fund's presence bigger and better as we approach our 100th anniversary, and our ethos of uniting kids with their equipment as quickly as possible remains as strong as ever.

By racing for Team Mini Sunshine, your hard-earned donations will stay in our region, and will make a direct difference to other children and families.

If you would like to register multiple children, please fill in the form per child.

We ask that each child participating in the Junior or Mini races raise a minimum of £50 to support local children living with disabilities, additional needs and terminal illness. For Mini 50 participants, fundraising is optional and we invite you to set your own targets.
